The region of Halkidiki is made up of three peninsulas or ‘legs’ as the locals call them. Kassandra, Sithonia and Athos. Our wedding is on the first leg Kassandra.

Kassandra has great beaches and an active night life! The beaches we recommend are: Possidi, Elani, Sani, Kallithea, Pefkohori, Hanioti. Afytos is a charming town on the eastern shore with lots of excellent restaurants. For those with a particular fondness for pizza, Capri in Pefkochori is highly recommended. Nightlife in Kassandra is concentrated in Kallithea, with numerous clubs; among them, Angels is a personal favourite!

Guests with access to a car are encouraged to explore the second peninsula of Sithonia our favourite beaches are the following: Kavourotripes, Spathies, and Karidi.

Thessaloniki is the second largest city in Greece. It is named after the sister of Alexander the Great ‘Thessalonike’. During the Byzantine Empire it was the called the ‘Co Capital’ after Constantinople. The city’s long history means you’ll see ancient architecture everywhere, even in its metro stations. Thessaloniki is widely recognised for its exceptional food. As Greeks we like to share our cuisine as its clearly the best in the world!
